Ketersediaan motherboard ROG Maximus IX Extreme terbaru besutan Asus baru saja resmi diperkenalkan. Selain terintegrasi monoblock yang dikembangkan bersamaan Bitspower, motherboard gaming Z270 berperforma tinggi ini juga memiliki dukungan processor desktop Intel Core generasi ke 6 dan 7, DDR4 hingga 4133 MHz, slot dual PCIe 3.0 x16 untuk SLI dan CrossFireX, Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 Type-A / C, dan soket Intel Optane-ready M.2.
Berbeda dengan monoblok EK yang pernah diresmikan minggu lalu yang dirancang khusus untuk motherboard Asus ROG, monoblock terpadu ini dirancang tidak hanya untuk mendinginkan processor dan sirkuit VRM, tapi juga terintegrasi heatsink M.2. Hal ini penting karena komponen ini didinginkan secara tradisional dengan memanfaatkan aliran udara berlebih yang disediakan oleh pendingin udara CPU. Kurangnya aliran udara ke komponen tersebut dapat menyebabkan overheating dan ketidakstabilan sistem. Dukungan Monoblock Bitspower kabarnya sanggup memperbaiki masalah itu dengan menempatkan pendinginan aktif secara langsung pada komponen yang ada.
Di bagian dalam water block, terdapat sensor temperatur tertanam dan laju alir serta detektor kebocoran built-in. Semua fitur ini dirancang untuk memantau sistem motherboard secara real time dan juga dapat mematikan sistem secara otomatis jika terjadi kebocoran.
Header Monoblok Bitspower, IO, logo, dan RGB dapat menampilkan berbagai efek pencahayaan RGB seperti breathing, strobing, pulsing, music effect, rainbow, dan masih banyak lagi. Pencahayaan RGB tersebut bahkan dapat disesuaikan/diatur untuk mengubah warna yang merefleksikan suhu dan beban CPU yang ada. Motherboard Maximus IX Extreme ini bahkan memiliki konektor audio 3.5mm kode warna dan cahaya LED.
Tak hanya itu saja, Asus ROG Maximus IX Extreme ini juga menawarkan sejumlah fitur eksklusif, termasuk perisai I / O pra-pemasangan, slot PCI Express SafeSlot yang kuat, slot memori SafeDIMM, dan tepi PCB berlapis tembaga. Asus Extreme Engine Digi+ terdiri dari MOSFET NexFET, MicroFine alloy choke, Digi+ PWM controller, dan kapasitor logam hitam 10K.
Setidaknya terdapat total 12 konektor kipas pada motherboard canggih ini yang ditempatkan secara strategis untuk digunakan pada komponen pendingin air seperti kipas angin dan pompa air. Keberadaan header pada motherboard untuk penambahan flow rate dan sensor suhu untuk end-user yang ingin menjalankan loop pendingin air sekunder.
Dikabarkan sekarang mulai merambah berbagai reseller terkemuka Amerika Utara, motherboard Asus ROG Maximus IX Extreme ini dipasarkan sekitar 629 USD atau 8,38 jutaan rupiah per unitnya.
